By-election announced in Mid and East Antrim
A by-election will be held in Mid and East Antrim next month.
It will take place in Carrick following the death of Independent councillor Jim Brown in August leaving a vacancy in the Castle District electoral area.
In the event of a contest, this will be held on October 18, from 7.00 am until 10.00 pm.
