Vodafone UK has started to roll out its 4G service in Carrickfergus this week.

The investment, according to the company, means all customers with compatible devices and bundles will be able to connect to the internet more quickly, more reliably and in more places than ever before.

4G services, Vodafone adds, will also help businesses improve productivity by enabling employees to work where and when they want to.

The rollout is part of approximately £2 billion the operator is spending across its network and services in the UK during 2014 and 2015. This includes improvements across its 3G network.
