Appeal for witnesses after Tesco ‘collision’

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in the car park of Tesco Carrickfergus earlier this month.

On Sunday, February 7 at approximately 2:45pm, a Tesco employee was operating a trolley machine in the customer car park when he was struck by a red VW Polo and knocked to the ground.

The female driver of the Polo made off without providing her details.

If you were in the car park at the time of the collision and have any information that could assist in identifying the driver/vehicle, please contact police on 101 (ref: 667 of 7/2/16).
