Carrickfergus Academy students celebrate exam success

Staff at Carrickfergus Academy have extended a big well done to all Year 14 students who received their results on Thursday.

The Academy said it was delighted with the number of leavers moving on to university, further education and employment.

“The range of destinations of the students reflects their hard work and good results as well as the opportunities Carrickfergus Academy has to offer.

“It is particularly exciting to see so many gaining three Grades A*-C as well as a number gaining top grades at A* and Distinction*.”

Pupils achieving three grades A*-C at A2 include: Fiona Beattie, Emma Brennan, Aimee Burns, Shannon Burns, Harry Butler, Nicole Cromie, Alexandra Ervine, Shannon Glass, Jenny Harley, Thomas Hermin, Jamie Herron, Ellen McCrossan, Lee McMaw, Danielle Moore, Lauren Nicholl, Naomi Orr, Katherine Pegg, Makenzi Purdy, Charley Robinson, Evan Rodgers and Heather Sprott.

Students achieving two or more top grades at A/Distinction at full A Level include: Fiona Beattie, Emma Brennan, Aimee Burns, Shannon Burns, Nicole Cromie, Jenny Harley, Lee McMaw, Makenzi Purdy and Charley Robinson.
