Wetherspoon to reopen in Carrickfergus

Wetherspoon is reopening its Carrickfergus High Street pub on Friday, April 30.

The Central Bar will serve customers in the beer garden.

The premises will not be operating a booking system. Customers will be able to order and pay through the company’s app, however, staff can take orders and payment at the table from those who don’t have it.

‘Test, Trace, Protect’ will be in operation, says Wetherspoon which is also reopening two of its other pubs in Northern Ireland on the same date.

Customers will be able to enter the pub to gain access to the garden and also to use the toilets.

Darren Niven, Wetherspoon area manager, said: “ We are looking forward to welcoming back customers and staff after a long time away.”
