Sunnylands Post Office refurbishment

Extended opening hours will come into effect when Sunnylands Post Office, Carrickfergus, reopens tomorrow (Friday) after refurbishment.

The Post Office says the changes are being made at the Bridewell Drive branch to make it more convenient for customers to visit.

In a statement, the company said: “The opening hours are being significantly extended at the branch which will soon be open seven days a week. This will nearly double the opening hours.”

The new opening hours from January 24 at 1pm will be Monday to Friday, 7am – 9pm; Saturday, 8am – 8pm; Sunday, 9am – 8pm.

The branch closed for refurbishment on Tuesday.

“We are changing Sunnylands Post Office to one of our local style branches. Post Office services will be provided from two Post Office counters alongside the retail counter.

“Customers will still be able to get most of the Post Office products and services they are used to, however for a small number of services they can visit Carrickfergus Post Office.”
