Castle will play home games at Carrickfergus Amphitheatre, similar to their predecessors, but in keeping with their entirely new image, a fresh colour scheme has been chosen, differing from either of the previous individual clubs. The new club’s primary colours will be red and navy with appropriate variations for their away strip.

An inaugural meeting of the new club will take place at 7.30pm, this Monday night, July 4th, in Ownie’s, Carrickfergus, where the players, officials, and members will have the opportunity to get together for the first time and elect their office bearers and committee members for the coming season.

“This is a hugely exciting opportunity for all our players and members,” said a club spokesperson, “and we know from the level of positive feedback we have received, the senior players are already thoroughly motivated by the prospect of competing together as a single club. Our newly-combined junior club will also, of course, now compete as Castle HC and there will be enhanced opportunities for our younger members with an enlarged senior club now in place for them to aspire to.”
