Divison 1A basement side Barn United suffered their 15th defeat of the season in Tuesday night’s loss to St Patrick’s YM.

Matt McDonald scored United’s goal as they went down 2-1 at Haslett Park.

Elsewhere, Lee McCartney’s Nortel were edged out 1-0 by Drumaness Mills in their Premier Division clash at the Factory Grounds, while 18th Newtownabbey chalked up a 4-1 success at home to Bryansburn Rangers in Division 1C.

Garry Campbell’s Mossley, who secured promotion on Saturday, drew 1-1 at Downshire. The point gained was good enough for Downshire to clinch the Division 1C title.

On Monday, and at the other end of the 1C table, Newington Rangers fell to a 3-2 defeat against Groomsport at The Knowe.
