This year’s tussle will take place on Friday, August 7, on the 3G pitch at the Showgrounds (7pm kick-off). This year half of the money raised will go towards Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

Another person who will benefit is local girl Jessica Philpott who has ‘Apert Syndrome’ - a life long affliction.

The syndrome, which affects one in every 100,000 children and disrupts the normal growth of bone before birth, results in deformities of the head, hands, feet and face.

The after party and raffle - which includes Manchester United tickets among the prizes - will take place at the Ballee Towers Tavern.
