Juniors back in training

GREENISLAND Ladies' Junior Hockey Club resume training sessions on Thursday, September 23 under the guidance of junior club coordinator Faye McCune.

Faye has recently been awarded Ulster Hockey Union Level 1 coaching qualification and is very keen to put all the new coaching methods into practice.

With scant availability at peak-time at Carrickfergus Amphitheatre, the Juniors have been lucky to secure training slots at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Girls aged 11-13 (Years 8 and 9) may train from 5pm-6pm, with 13-15-year-olds (Years 10 and 11) training from 6pm-7pm each Thursday.

Registration forms are available for download at www.greenislandladies.co.uk - just click on the Junior Hockey tab on the home page.
