Striker Adam Dick has left Carrick Rangers for Amateur League side UUJ.

The former Linfield, Ballyclare and Larne frontman made 66 appearances for the Taylor’s Avenue club.

He was part of Carrick’s 2014-15 treble-winning squad but has rarely featured for the team since they were promoted to the Premiership.

He joins a UUJ side who are bottom of Division 1B with just one win from 13 outings.

Meanwhile, the students officially announced Billy Youle as their new boss on Wenesday afternoon (January 27). A post on their Twitter feed read: “UUJ are delighted to announce that Billy Youle has taken over as first team manager. We wish Billy and his team every success.”
