The Reds took the lead thanks to Tiernan Mulvenna’s first-half header but Carrick levelled after the break when Kyle Cherry headed home Aaron Smyth’s high cross.

Mulvenna netted his second of the night with a tasty finish on the hour before James Knowles and Martin Donnelly scored deep into time added on.
