Same old story for Kilroot Rec

Kilroot, while 16 points adrift at the bottom of 1c, still aren’t officially relegated, but obviously winning six out of six in their remaining games is highly unlikely – especially for a side who haven’t won a match in two years!

Oddly enough, it was Kilroot who could have taken the lead, had the keeper not pulled off an excellent save to defy Joe McDonnell.

In the end, that’s as good as it got for the Rec, as ‘Hinch helped themselves to five first half goals with two more arriving in the final 10 minutes.
