Carrick boss Gary Haveron has today confirmed the signing of Crusaders midfielder Aidan Watson.
“Aidy is 29 years old and has a wealth of experience as well as tremendous ability and I am particularly excited by his arrival,” the Taylor’s Avenue boss told the Times.
“I had hoped to secure his signature last summer and again on loan in January but Stephen Baxter was not for him letting go until he was out of contract.”
The acquisition of Watson, who played alongside Haveron at Ballymena United, comes hot on the heels of the arrivals of Kyle Cherry from Dundela and Miguel Chines from Knockbreda.
