Mac knock Carrick out of Cup

Carrick Rangers were dumped out of the Intermediate Cup on penalties against Amateur League side Immaculata on Saturday.
The West Belfast men won the shootout 4-3 after a 2-2 draw. Sencer Yilmaz put Carrick in front inside four minutes, but Mac hit back through Colm O’Riordan on 20 minutes.
New signing Sean Friars came off the bench to fire Rangers in front from the penalty spot on the hour, only for Kevin Hughes to net a late leveller to force the game into extra-time.
Aaron Harmon and Corey Davidson both missed their penalties in the shout-out, while the Immaculata netted four out of five to progress.
