Kelly’s the hero as Carrick see off DC

Carrick fought back from a goal down to claim a 2-1 win over Donegal Celtic in the third round of the Intermediate Cup.

Daniel Kelly’s 86th-minute header saw off 10-man DC at Taylor’s Avenue.

The visitors had taken the lead five minutes before the break through Darren Stewart, but Aaron Smyth brought Carrick level early in the second-half.

Donegal Celtic had 17-year-old Aaron Martin sent off on his debut for the west Belfast club.
