AMATEUR LEAGUE: 18th '˜destroyed' Mossley in derby, says Miskimmin
It means a league double for 18th not to mention their Irish Cup success on the same ground. They are the only 1C team to have beaten Garry Campbell’s men over 90 minutes this season.
“Eighteenth seem to have something over us at the minute,” Campbell admitted. “It was our last chance to get at them this season and I think we all expected it to be closer. Maybe it would have been had we got a penalty at 0-0. It was a definite hand-to-ball but the referee didn’t give it.

The only real football we played was late on to make it 5-2. I just don’t know why we didn’t do that earlier.
“We just didn’t perform, but I’m sure they’d swop this result for where we are in the league. As far as I’m concerned, it’s done and dusted and we need to move on to the next game.”
Despite the defeat, Mossley move up to third after Dunmurry YM their next opponents were docked 15 points.
Joint 18th manager Mark Miskimmin suggested: “From start to finish, there was only one team in it; we absolutely destroyed them.

Neil McGrath gave 18th a first-half lead. However, it was a three-goal blitz early in the second half that ended the debate; Mark Miskimmin leading from the front with two goals either side of a Matthew Sellars header.
Lee Graham pulled one back from the spotbut back came 18th through Don McAteer, before Mossley’s consolation from Graham.
