Co Antrim Harriers members out in force
Larne-based Jonathan Turner once again tackled an ultra event and added the Causeway Coast to his expanding CV, conquering the 41 miles and a tough headwind in an excellent 9:24:53. Also out for the club in the half-marathon were Irene Downey, Ally Bennett and Marion Morrow who all ran exceedingly well to finish in 2:30:06, 3:10:16 and 3:10:16 respectively.
Further south, at Castlewellan, the club’s female triathlete Natalie Davidson successfully completed the Olympic distance of a 1500m swim, a 40k cycle and a 10k run in a terrific 2:59:02, and once again achieved a personal best in the 10k.

Hide AdAt the Bangor 10k, Chris Barrett was first home for the club in 43:52, with daughter Lisa finishing in 51:35, and Grace Startin in a super 59:51. Heather White made her now customary appearance at the Waterworks Parkrun in Belfast, clocking an excellent 21:36.
