More nurseries invited to go on the Big Toddle

Barnardo’s NI would like to say a big thank you to all the under-fives from Victoria Primary School Nursery Unit, Acorn Nursery and Playgroup and Rainbow Playgroup, Carrickfergus, who took part in the Barnardo’s nursery rhyme and fairytale-theme Big Toddle last year (2013).

The tremendous toddlers helped raise over £900 for local Barnardo’s NI projects - including children with a disability, children living in poverty or children overcoming a traumatic experience like domestic violence or losing a parent.

Barnardo’s NI would love to see more local nurseries registering to Toddle in 2014 when the theme will be space with toddlers being encouraged to dress up as anything from astronauts and aliens to planets or stars.

By taking part you will be helping make a difference to other children’s lives and giving your little ones a day to remember.

Nurseries can host their own space-themed Big Toddle with family and friends, any time, any place.

You can make it as big as you want or as simple as a walk in the park.
