Today (Monday, April 12) will be a rather cloudy day, according to the Met Office forecast for Northern Ireland.

There could be scattered showers, most of them in the west. It will be drier and becoming a little brighter over Co Antrim and Co Down.

Light winds are forecast and a maximum temperature of 9 °C.

Any showers will become fewer this evening with just an isolated one continuing overnight. Otherwise many places will be dry with clear periods developing and a touch of frost.

The minimum temperature is forecast at -1 °C

The outlook for tomorrow (Tuesday) is for a mainly dry and bright day with sunny spells. Scattered showers may develop later in the morning with a few heavier ones in the afternoon. It will be a milder day with light winds and a maximum temperature of 12 °C.
