Taylor's Avenue closure to facilitate rail embankment repairs

Motorists are advised diversions will be in place at a busy Carrickfergus link road when a rail embankment project commences on Monday.

The Department for Infrastructure has given notice the U3105 Taylor’s Avenue will be closed continuously to vehicular traffic between Marine Highway and Prince William Way from 9.30am on September 24 until 4.30pm on Friday, October 12.

This is to facilitate concrete repairs to the railway embankment by Transport NI.

A diversion will be signposted via Green Street, Larne Road, Victoria Road, Prince Andrew Way, North Road, Prince William Way and vice versa.
