Racist murder ‘casting a shadow over commnity’

FEAR or misguided loyalty may be preventing people in Carrick providing information that could lead to a breakthrough in the Simon Tang murder case, the PSNI believes.
Detective Chief Inspector Gary Crawford, officer in charge of the investigation into the racist attack 15 years ago at Woodburn which cost the Chinese businessman his life, told the TIMES this week: “We have reason to believe that there are certain members of the community who know exactly what happened that night.”
Following a review of the case, detectives from Serious Crime Branch have identified new lines of enquiry.
