Mollie has wonderful birthday: Slideshow
Ballymoney’s ‘First Freeman’ marked her 100th milestone with a weekend of celebrations including a party at the Lodge Hotel in Coleraine as well as a special service at St Patrick’s Church.
Speaking to the Times, Mollie said: “I would like to thank all the people who sent me greetings and good wishes for my birthday. I would also like to thank those who sent gifts, you are very naughty as I said ‘no gifts’ but they were all lovely presents I will treasure.

“Special thanks also go to the Lodge Hotel for their great service as well as Alistair Coyles and my good friend John Watt for the tremendous entertainment - John, my song was delightful.
“Unfortunately some of the people couldn’t come to the party, so I’m hopefully going to have a few tea parties at my home. People say it’s too much but I have the invitations already done, I just need to write the people’s names and the date when I’m ready to party again!”
