Thieves have stolen metal twice in the past six months from the school at Prince Andrew Way. INCT 05-063-tc

Police are investigating the theft of around £3000 worth of lead flashing from the roof of Ulidia Integrated College.

It is believed the lead was stolen by two males on January 21; however, the extent of the damage was not noticed until heavy rainfall caused the roof to leak last week.

“This is the second such theft we’ve had in recent months; in July last year, around £5000 worth of lead flashing was stolen from the roof of the PE hall,” Ulidia principal Eugene Martin told the Carrick Times this week.
