Cheston St assault

A 46-year-old man was arrested by police following an assault in Carrickfergus on Monday.

Police were called after a 47-year-old man was assaulted at Cheston Street around midday.

The arrested man was questioned by police and subsequently released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
