A Greenisland woman has made a renewed call for help in identifying the individual who damaged her car and then made off.

Alison McNeilly’s vehicle was parked outside her home on Kinbayne Crescent when the incident occurred.

She discovered a large dent to the front of the red Fiat Doblo on the morning of Wednesday, September 6.

“We know the damage was caused by a large vehicle,” Alison said.

The car will need a new wing panel, she added.

A spokesperson for the PSNI confirmed that police received a report of damage to a vehicle in the Kinbayne Crescent area.

Constable O’Neill said: “It is believed that sometime between 11pm on Tuesday, September 5 and 8am of Wednesday, September 6 a vehicle hit a Fiat Doblo before driving on. Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference 480 of 06/09/17.”
