Get ready for the switchover
The switchover roadshow will be outside the library in Market Square, Dromore, from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday August 14.
On Wednesday 15 August it will visit Banbridge when it will be outside Friar Tuck’s Restaurant in Bridge Street, also from 9am to 5pm.

Hide AdThe roadshow team will travel over 1,600 miles across Northern Ireland over the coming weeks, offering practical advice on how to get set for digital, as well as the Switchover Help Scheme for older and disabled people.
Visitors to the roadshow will have the opportunity to: Find out when switchover is happening and the options for going digital, Learn how eligible people can get a TV converted by the Switchover Help Scheme.
See technical demonstrations (e.g. how to retune a box) and put questions to Digital UK’s specially trained advisers
Denis Wolinski, Digital UK National Manager for Northern Ireland, said, “The whole of Northern Ireland, covering more than 1.5 million viewers, will have switched to digital by the end of October. “This is a great opportunity for people to meet the teams from Digital UK and the Switchover Help Scheme, find out how to prepare for switchover and learn what assistance is available.”

Hide AdSwitchover will begin in Northern Ireland on 10 October 2012. Latest research indicates that more than nine out of ten homes already have a digital service on their main TV, but some homes may still have other sets that need to be converted.
