Police appeal after Ballycarry assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault at Main Street in Ballycarry.

Sergeant Allen said:“It was reported that at approximately 3.00am on Saturday June 24, an altercation occurred between two groups of people within the vicinity of Main Street in the Ballycarry area.

“The altercation resulted in two persons sustaining injuries to their faces and arms.

“We are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed the incident to contact Larne Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1104 of the 24/06/17. Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
