Further arrest in Gilmore murder investigation
Police investigating the murder of George Gilmore in Carrickfergus on Monday, March 13 have arrested a man today (Thursday).
The 34-year-old was arrested in the Carrickfergus area. He is currently in Musgrave station assisting detectives with their enquiries.
Detectives, who have made a number of previous arrests as part of the probe, continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting and who witnessed the attack to contact them in the incident room on 02890 259542, phone police on 101 quoting serial 605 15/03 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.
