Arrests made after disorder
Police arrested three males following minor disorder overnight.
Detailing the incident in a post on the PSNI Carrickfergus Facebook page, a police spokesperson said: “Officers responded to calls of minor disorder in Carrickfergus town centre overnight.
“It transpired that several males had drank more alcohol than they could handle and had fallen out with each other!
“They were dealt with robustly at the scene, resulting in three arrests. Having spent the night in one of our custody suites, they will be asked to account for their behaviour once they sober up.”
