Council economic event is praised
Mr O’ Dowd said, “The Council has sent out a clear signal... that it is going to be the fore in promoting the area as an economic hub. The array of businesses present on the day highlighted the breadth of economic activity already taking place within the council area.
“There are huge challenges facing businesses across the area and it is vital that the local Council, the Assembly and the Executive work collectively to assist job creation and retention. Large and small companies need support and the conference ensured the voices of big business, as well as small and medium enterprises were equally heard.”
