Vodafone 4G announcement welcomed in Carrick
East Antrim MP Sammy Wilson has welcomed an announcement from Vodafone that 4G mobile phone coverage is now available in Carrickfergus.
Mr Wilson said: “This development will mean that those people who are Vodafone customers will be able to connect to the internet more quickly and reliably in more places than ever before.
“It also means that entertainment such as music, sport, movies etc will be more readily available and accessible to devices such as telephones, laptops, iPads etc.”
The DUP representative added “it is important that we see an extension of provision to other towns and villages in East Antrim”.
