'˜Paramilitary style shooting' in Carrickfergus

PSNI are appealing for information following a paramilitary style shooting in Dunluskin Gardens, Carrickfergus yesterday evening (Wednesday).

Shortly after 5.30pm police received a report that a man had been shot in both legs.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Chief Inspector Rosemary Thompson would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Dunluskin Gardens and may have witnessed this incident to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime, Larne, quoting reference number 889 29/06/16.
