CS gas '˜used to restrain man' in Carrickfergus
A man was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident near Woodburn Forest.
Sergeant John Hamilton said: “Last evening, Sunday, May 29 police arrested a 43-year-old man in the Paisley Road area of Carrickfergus on suspicion of common assault, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.
“He was later released on bail pending further police enquiries.”
It is understood CS incapacitant spray was used to restrain the man during the incident.
