Carrick singer-songwriter prepares to release first album

A Carrick singer-songwriter is inviting people to preview his musical style as he prepares to release his first album.

'‹Luke Crymble recently recorded his debut single, Another Day (featuring Problemchild), which is available on iTunes and Spotify.

The 18-year-old, originally from Broadlands in the town, is currently studying at Northumbria University in Newcastle.

"I've been writing songs for about a year, and this is the first time I'm releasing my music," Luke said.

With skills on both the guitar and piano, the local musician has a number of gigs planned for summer 2018.

Describing his style as "lofi and ambient, singing over light and chill beats", Luke's influences include Watsky, Jez Dior, and Logic.

His album Another Day is due to be released on January 1, 2018 and will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, SoundCloud and YouTube.
