James said: “I will carry on the vision that is Carrickfergus Community Church. We are a community church accepting of all denominations and totally independent. We welcome everyone from all walks of life.

“I want to make the church more family orientated. We have seen our youth members grow and have families of their own.”

He indicated that creche facilities are available during Sunday morning worship which starts at 11.00 am. An evening service takes place at 7.00 pm.
