A statement from the CTCP read: “To celebrate Halloween in style, this year we are offering one very lucky customer the chance to win a window stocked full of products from Carrickfergus-based retailers.

“The window, located in West Street, will be decorated and filled with prizes for one very lucky customer to take away at Halloween.

“Entry is via a prize draw form which will be handed out by participating retailers to customers who make a qualifying purchase during the competition period.”

The prize draw will take place on Saturday, October 28 at 4pm.

CTCP Chairman, Noel Williams, said: “As well as the prize draw, there will be a few spooky creatures haunting the town centre, an interactive walkabout tour hosted by Kragfergus Living History Group and live music from buskers around the town. Our younger visitors are encouraged to dress up for a spot of trick-or-treating visiting our not so scary retailers to collect some sweets.”

The event is funded by the National Lottery Big Lottery Fund.
