Ulster Unionist Party candidate Maureen Morrow has been eliminated after the fourth stage of the count in East Antrim.

Alderman Morrow - a member of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council - polled just 719 first preference votes.

No one was elected at the fourth stage of the count, but the DUP’s Gordon Lyons and UUP’s Roy Beggs look likely to be the next candidates to make the quota.

Mrs Morrow’s transfers will now be redistributed to the remaining candidates.
