Give My Head Peace live and dangerous is coming to Coleraine

FOLLOWING last year's sell-out shows across Northern Ireland, the award-winning team from Give My Head Peace and Dry Your Eyes have been touring their brand-new stage show, Give My Head Peace…Live and Dangerous!

The show will appear at The Riverside Theatre, Coleraine for two nights only on Friday and Saturday, June 25-26.

Give My Head Peace…Live and Dangerous! features all of the favourite and much-loved characters from Give My Head Peace and Dry Your Eyes, including those who 'passed away' in the last episode of the hit BBC Northern Ireland television series…and a few surprises too!

Uncle Andy, Cal, Da, the motorcycle-mad McDowells and many more come together for a night of guaranteed laughs and comic anarchy.

Damon Quinn (Cal), Tim McGarry (Da) and Michael McDowell (Billy), the writers behind the two television programmes, have once again joined forces to bring the hilarious characters from the programmes to life on stage. They are joined by the comic talents of Olivia Nash (Ma), Marty Reid (Uncle Andy) and, for the first time on stage with the gang, one of Northern Ireland's best-known broadcasters George Jones. George plays Melvin (Big Mervyn's smarter brother) and Emma Little plays the mysterious character Lily.

Give My Head Peace…Live and Dangerous! features sketches, stand-up and, as you would expect, the gang dive head first into the recent election and other topical issues.

Tim McGarry, producer of Give My Head Peace…Live and Dangerous! said: "The response from theatre audiences to this show has been fantastic and we are delighted to have opportunity to bring our hilarious, brand-new production to Coleraine.

"We promise a great night's craic, entertainment and side-splitting laughs and we hope theatre audiences will enjoy the show as much as we have in writing the material. Don't forget, if you're easily offended, remember, we're only slagging."

Tickets are selling fast so book now for Give My Head Peace…Live and Dangerous! at the Riverside Theatre, Coleraine, Box Office: 7032 3232 or online at www.riversidetheatre.org.uk
