Kristen raised the funds for her chosen charity as part of her preparation for Miss Teen Great Britain and was delighted to recently present them with a cheque for £500.00.

Gillian Breen, Community Fundraiser, thanked Kristen for her support.

She said: “TinyLife, formerly NIMBA, provides practical and emotional support to the families of premature and sick babies across the province through our raft of Family Support services.

“Every day in Northern Ireland six babies are born too soon, some arriving as early as 24 weeks and weighing as little as 1lb. Without the terrific support of local people like Kristen we would not be able to continue to bring these services to local families in their time of need”

TinyLife, formerly NIMBA, is Northern Ireland’s only premature and sick baby charity based in Carryduff. The charity funds research and provides a wide range of support services for families of premature and sick babies, including a breast pump loan service, hospital based support, home based volunteer support, baby massage, parents support group and baby sensory room service.

Last year, over 750 families benefitted from TinyLife services. The charity is 90% reliant on fundraising efforts to support the services provided.
